The movie Chocolat, released in 2000 and featuring a role by the ever charming Johnny Depp, is based on the novel of the same name written by Joanne Harris, which is available for checkout at FIC HAR. We also have the DVD available to checkout at DVD FIC CHO.Chocolat is an enchanting novel about a small, provencial French town turned upside down by the arrival of a bewitching chocolate confectioner, Vianne Rocher, and her spirited young daughter. Their presence in the village forces the residents to take a closer look at their own lives.
