Garth Stein's book The Art of Racing in the Rain is one of the books I recommend most to patrons and friends, so I was delighted to discover that he is participating in a an Author Chat on http://www.librarything.com/. Oh LibraryThing, how do I love thee? Let me me count the ways . . .All you need to do is create a free account and then you can keep track of all your books as well as participate in group chats and receive recommendations based on the books you have read or want to read. And apparently you can even connect with your favorite authors, which I give two enthusiastic thumbs up!
